Kerra Talbott is a Maryland based designer with a love for surface design and a color obsession. Her work is bursting with color & fun in an attempt to spread sunshine with every design. She loves to infuse every project with a healthy dose of optimism and eco-friendly strategies to give this big beautiful earth the hug it deserves. This led to a passion for print on demand manufacturing that keeps overproduced products out of landfills while still getting colorful, fun products into the hands of people who want them. It’s the method she uses for her in-house shop, screen-printing every order by hand in her garage down in Southern Maryland (as far south as you can go in MD without ending up in the water). She collaborates with companies that have the same focus on sustainable strategies and want to bring some good into this world.
Be sure to follow along with all her creative chaos over on social (instagram is where she spends the most time!).
Oh...still here?
Here’s seven extremely fun facts about me:
1. My skin care routine cannot exist without Rosehip Oil (it’s kinda the only product in my routine).
2. I’m an animal lover and can often be found cuddling my pets Goose (goosey doo), Freya (fur beast) & Jackson (bink bonk) against their will.
3. My favorite scents in the world are Black Spruce, anything citrus & freshly brewed coffee in the morning.
4. I’m an eternal optimist – I could find the bright side to nearly any situation.
5. I’ve had jobs in cities like Cincinnati, Baltimore and San Francisco but no city has stolen my heart away like New York City has. It will always be home to me, no matter how long it’s been.
6. I’m drawn to the water like a moth is drawn to flame. There’s something so soothing and soul invigorating about being by water. It’s without a doubt the best part of living in Southern Maryland.
7. I spend a lot of time on self improvement and trying to understand my personality strengths and weaknesses. I identify as a Type Seven (with a Six wing) on the Enneagram and have both my sun and moon in Gemini. So everything about my results points to me being an enthusiastic scatterbrain with a split personality. My Myer Briggs results came back as ENFP but the E was so close to 50% that I’m a bit more like an E/INFP. No matter what I can’t get away from the dualistic nature of the twins.
